Ring a bell
當人家講的事情在你腦中突然有電燈泡出現，然後背景音樂還搭配上「叮咚」，那就表示你對這事情有印象，所以ring a bell的意思就是「有印象」。
例如：
A: Do you know Samantha Lin?（你知道莎曼莎林嗎？）
B: Yeah. That name rings a bell. Why?（有啊，我對那名字有印象耶。怎麼了嗎？）
A: Oh, she called this morning. She said that you played with her emotions and you’re a scum!（喔，她今天早上打電話來說你玩弄他的感情，你是一個渣男！）
B: Um… No comment!（嗯⋯不予置評）
